It is the vision of the staff members of this facility to promote change and to help people to become free of addiction and its effects. The team offer their help in a non-judgemental and transparent way, and they are prepared to consider all options that will be of benefit to the client – rather than just religiously sticking to one method. Accommodation

The accommodation at this facility is of a very high standard, and the building itself is beautiful and located in Wiltshire parkland. This is a reasonably large rehab with 38 registered beds available. There are seven rooms that have three or more beds and five twin rooms. Four of these rooms offer en suite facilities. The management at this rehab believe that it is important for clients to share a bedroom during their stay or otherwise there is the risk that they might try to isolate. The available facilities in this rehab are very good – there is even a shop inside the rehab.

The Treatment Team

The experienced team at this facility are all dedicated and capable. They always act professionally, but they are also aware of the importance of developing a friendly relationship with clients. In many important ways, the client is a member of the team so the work is collaborative rather than a strictly therapist/client relationship. All the team are properly trained for their roles.

The Treatment Program

The treatment program makes use of what works, but it is greatly influenced by the 12 Step approach to recovery. This might mean that it will work best for those individuals who intend to use a program such as Alcoholics Anonymous following their stay. The program also includes:

  • One to one therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Educational lectures
  • Skills workshops
  • Reading/writing assignments
  • Drumming
  • Creative workshops
  • Recovery videos
  • Drama and dance

Best Suited For

This facility will be able to accept male and female clients aged between 18 and 75. All clients will have to undergo a risk assessment to see if they are suitable for the program.

Disabled Access

This facility does not have wheelchair access so it will work best for people with a reasonable amount of mobility.
