The Treatment Team
One of the advantages that all of this groups teams benefit from is that they are led by a consultant psychiatrist. Other members of the team include; nurses, therapists, counsellors, and support staff. The client is also encouraged to think of themselves as being a key member of the team because it will be completely up to them to get the most out of what is offered.
The Treatment Program
The centre does not believe that there is one approach that is going to work for everyone. This is why they provide a treatment program that makes use of different modalities including:
- Cognitive behavioural therapy
- 12 step work (this is the same program that is used by fellowships such AA and Na).
- Holistic therapies
The 12 Steps do have an important part to play in the program offered to the individual, but the most important thing is finding what works for each person.
