The Treatment Team
The core treatment team is made up of dedicated professionals. There are also volunteers who have a personal history with dealing with addiction and have already made it through this program. The client is also a key member of this team, and it will be up to them to make the best use of the resources that are on offer.
The Treatment Program
The treatment program in this facility is based around the 12 Steps. This is the same program that is used by fellowships such as Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous. In order to get the most from this program the individual has to begin taking responsibility for their own progress. The 12 step work that they do in rehab will be something that they will need to continue once they leave the program. The aim then is to provide the person with a strong foundation on which they will later build. The type of thing that residents can expect during their stay will include:
- 2 one to one counselling sessions each week with their key worker
- Regular group therapy sessions
- Holistic/ complementary therapies
- Educational and skills workshops
- Daily attendance at 12 Step Meetings
Best Suited For
This rehab will suit males and females aged between 18 and 85. The fact that the program here is focused predominately on the 12 Steps means that it will be a good choice for those who intend to use AA or NA meetings once they leave.
This facility has limited wheelchair access.
