Accommodation: Clients on the primary care programme reside in a tastefully renovated sober house a short distance from the day treatment centre. It’s set within private walled gardens and is staffed at all times. Those on the extended care programme move to stylish properties where they are given more personal responsibility, supported by evening/weekend staff visits and telephone calls.
Ethos: Two step. Helping addicts understand their dependency initially. Then enabling them to develop the skills and attitudes for a long-term recovery.
Treatment: Based on the 12-step model, the primary treatment programme includes group therapy, individual counselling, life skills workshops, cognitive behavioural therapy and relapse prevention. The extended care programme allows clients to put the skills they have learned into practical use and to develop strategies to deal with relapse triggers.
Staff: Highly qualified counsellors and therapists, most of whom have personal experience of addiction and recovery.
Profile and Location:
This clinic is set in Cheshire on the border of England and North Wales. Clients will stay in a 14 bedded residential house that is furnished to a high standard providing comfortable and secure accommodation. Primary care starts at a minimum of 4 weeks residential and the clinic is able to treat alcohol, drug addiction as well as secondary eating disorders and process addictions. The environment is warm and welcoming with local facilities and amenities close by. This clinic offers a well-structured program and comfortable surroundings at an affordable price. They welcome clients that are both privately and government funded.

The staff at the Cheshire clinic offer a very warm and friendly environment, each practitioner is dedicated and deeply passionate about their role. The house is staffed at all times with a live in housekeeper and therapeutic and medical support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Treatment Team
The clinics team of practitioners are highly qualified and experienced in each of their individual roles. The team is led by the clinics Treatment Director, who is supported by a dedicated team of Counsellors, and a G.P. For additional support during the detox period the clinic has its own registered nurse. The Treatment Program
Treatment at this clinic starts at a 4 week period of treatment. The treatment programs contain 3 structured phases that span over a total period of 12 weeks treatment. The program incorporates the 12 Step model of abstinence with cognitive and holistic elements. Each client’s care plan will be tailored to meet with their individual treatment needs and requirements. This clinic offers residential treatment only as it has been recognised that residential treatment affords a higher success rate than less intensive methods. The clinic also offer one to one counselling, support for families and loved ones and a comprehensive aftercare package. The treatment day is structured and incorporates additional activities such meditation, relaxation classes, life skills workshops, Pilates and relapse prevention. There are also periods for socializing during a weekly games night. Clients who attend this clinic will be required to attend 12 step fellowship meetings as part of their rehabilitation and introduction into recovery.
