This clinic offers treatment for clients with Alcoholism, drug addiction, Eating Disorders and process addictions. The Treatment program offers a minimum of 8 weeks primary care residential rehabilitation, including a medically assisted detox if required. Their primary care program runs up to 12 weeks and they can also facilitate Secondary care. Aftercare and counselling is also offered at this clinic.

The staff at this clinic believes that residential rehabilitation achieves the best results and that there are no short cuts to long term recovery. Hence they offer a minimum primary care program of 8 weeks inpatient. Their philosophy is based on the 12 Steps of recovery and is abstinence based. The Clinic offers double occupancy rooms in 2 shared houses, rooms will be occupied by same sex clients only. The accommodation is basic and comfortable, designed so that each individual can retain some independence and be able to separate their relaxation time from the daily treatment program at the clinic. Each house provides a cook and housekeeper maximising patients relaxation and recuperation time.
The Treatment Team
The clinics team of practitioners consist of Psychotherapists, Counsellors and holistic therapist who are highly qualified and experienced in each of their individual roles. Each member of staff is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of the clinics patients, providing a caring, educational and supportive environment.
The Treatment Program
This clinics treatment program incorporates the 12 Step program of recovery and abstains from all mood and mind altering substances. Each individuals needs are assessed on admission and a tailored care plan will be devised for the duration of their treatment. This clinic takes a holistic and cognitive approach to treatment, encouraging alternative therapies and a change in thinking and attitude. The program is structured and disciplined and will require attendance to 12 Step fellowship meetings on a regular basis. The majority of primary care programs run for 12 consecutive weeks and Secondary care is also available to those individuals wish to join a supported reintegration program.
Best Suited For
This clinic is best suited to individuals who are open minded around the 12 Steps of recovery and who can commit to a longer primary care program. The clinic accepts referrals from both the private and publicly funded sector and is therefore more affordable than some treatment clinics.
The Bristol clinic is suitable for individuals with mild levels of physical disability. However for someone with moderate to severe mobility problems they do not have the necessary equipment or staff to accommodate.
