- Staff Ethos
The team at this centre are flexible in the way they approach clients. They understand that these individuals will each have their own unique needs, and that a one size fits all approach is unlikely to be effective. The goal of the staff members is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which the individual will build a strong foundation for their recovery. The aim is to empower these people so they will be able to build a satisfying life once they return home.
The accommodation at the clinic is of a high standard. There are 43 private rooms for residents and each of these will have en suite facilities. The rooms also have a television and private phone. The management at the centre understand that the environment that clients will be staying in can have as big an impact on them as the actual treatment, so they put a good deal of effort into getting the environment right. The emphasis is on comfort levels. There are also a number of shared rooms that residents will use throughout their stay – one of the most important of these will be the dining room where residents are expected to go for their meals. There are also landscaped grounds around the centre where residents can go for walks.

- The Treatment Program
The treatment program at the clinic is built around different approaches that have found to be effective. It is understood that each client is unique, so the exact path that they will need to follow in recovery will reflect this. The centre’s program uses methods such as 12 step work and cognitive behavioural therapy in their program. They also use holistic approaches such as mindfulness meditation. The key to the program is flexibility, and the understanding that it will be up to the client to ultimately decide what works best for them.
Best Suited For
The clinic will suit clients that need help to initially get their recovery off the ground. It will provide them with the support they need so that they can make it through the first weeks of recovery, and it will provide them with the tools they need to adjust to sobriety.
The centre provides disabled access. They also have disabled parking, a disabled WC, and wheelchair access.
