Here they offer detoxification and rehabilitation for men and women over the age of 18, suffering from alcohol, drug and process addictions. They also specialize in treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and are able to treat dual diagnosis clients. This clinic is able to house 10 residents at any one time. Bedrooms are spacious and shared by the same sex and have en-suite facilities. There is one VIP room for single occupancy. There is a chef who prepares delicious home cooked meals during the week, with clients cooking and preparing their own meals on the weekend. The clinic is very private and secure and set within spacious gardens that are tranquil and attractive. There is a large swimming pool and several spiritual areas within the gardens, providing individuals with time for meditation and reflection. This clinic prides itself on its “home from home” living environment in clean, comfortable and spacious surroundings providing and ideal setting in which to recover and heal.
The Treatment Team
The clinics team of practitioners are highly qualified and experienced in each of their individual roles. The team consist of a Clinical Director who is supported by Counsellors, Psychologists, Therapists, Trauma specialists and Holistic staff including a Surfing instructor. There are also housekeepers, support staff and a qualified resident Chef.
The Treatment Program
This clinics treatment program runs from 28 days as a minimum requirement. Addiction Helper is able to offer exclusive package deals for those wishing to stay for longer periods of time. The treatment program incorporates the 12 step model of care and offers a holistic and therapeutic approach to recovery. Therapies included are Trauma Resolution, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, relapse prevention and family support groups. These main therapies are complimented by Yoga, Meditation, massage, relaxation, Surfing, Communal BBQs, Spiritual outings, Chi Gong and daily beach walks. Other activities are available at an additional cost.
