Are you or a loved one looking for alcohol or drug detoxification and rehabilitation? If so, you have come to the right place! Addiction Helper are the leading authority on addiction recovery. We have treated over 10,000 clients across the UK in over 100+ CQC regulated rehab centres. All our staff are in recovery from addiction and many have been through rehab themselves. We specialise in sober transport, immediate admissions, detox, counselling, personalised rehab programmes, and free aftercare support sessions.
One of our telephone addiction counsellors will onboard you with a pre-admission assessment which will then be forwarded to the rehab clinic you will be attending. The in-house doctor will therefore already have an understanding of your treatment needs before you complete your full physical and mental health assessment.
On admission to one of our UK alcohol rehab centres, clients are comprehensively assessed for alcohol/drug dependency by an experienced doctor. An approved medication is then prescribed to replace the alcohol and control withdrawal symptoms. The vast majority of detoxes are complete within 7-10 days. Furthermore, you will receive 24/7 medical and therapeutic support from doctors and therapists.
Detoxing the body is not enough to combat addiction. Through intensive, personalised, and group therapy the root causes and the underlying issues which lead to our clients using drink and drugs as a solution to life’s problems are uncovered and subsequently treated. This allows the client to leave the treatment facility free from their need to use alcohol/drugs and with the ability to deal with life on life’s terms. Alcohol and drugs are not the problem, they are seen as the solution. Through rehabilitation the solution changes, and the client becomes free from active addiction.
Qualified British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) counsellors play a major role in Addiction Helper’s rehabilitation service. They have vast experience in treating addictions of all severities and helping to bring about a sea change in the addict’s thought process and subsequent behaviour.
Once discharged readjusting to everyday life can be difficult and stressful. Because it’s common to relapse back into old patterns within the first few months post-treatment, a continuing aftercare plan is crucial to the overall addiction recovery process. Complimentary 1yr aftercare comes as standard with Addiction Helper and involves weekly sessions lasting between 1-2 hours where the client will have access to private counsellors along with group therapy.
