Exaireo

The Exaireo Trust is a local Christian Charity and Registered Social Landlord providing temporary supported accommodation and a holistic service to single adults that are homeless. We currently have eleven houses in Loughborough and Coalville supporting more than 40 residents. Through the provision of a home, access to healthcare, help to develop lifeskills and encouragement back into work we aim to assist individuals to move-on to live independently in the future. We recently opened our first Community House specifically aimed at those recovering from drug and alcohol addictions; Inspiration House has a member of staff living on site and runs a structured day programme to help the residents. Getting residents back to work is important and we provide a number of volunteering opportunities: - G& S Services CIC offer Tree surgery, Gardening and Property Maintenance services. - The Exaireo Reuse Project take unwanted furniture and electrical goods and either sell them or give these to those in need in our local community. We also process unwanted paint as part of the national Community Repaint Scheme, this is then sold at low cost in our shop. - Our Reuse project provides work based training to all our residents to help them to become economically independent in the future. We have close links with Loughborough University, Diam UK and Shoezone.
