Alcoholics Anonymous is made up of many thousands of groups worldwide of which ours is only one. Our group was founded in September 1988 and since that time it has taken on a number of names, formats and venues. Rather than just having one type of meeting we operate a variety of formats. Each week we rotate through one of our main formats. There are speaker meetings, Big Book meetings, tradition meetings, topic meetings, step meetings, ask-it-basket meetings, and shared platform meetings where both AA and Al-Anon members are invited to speak. All our meetings are open, meaning that everyone, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are welcome to attend.
